Australia 108,500 skilled migration Visas for the year 2007-08.

Australia's General Skilled Migration and Employer Sponsored visa programs will allow 108,500 people to get visas for the year 2007-08. This programs allow skilled professionals need to be sponsored by an employer or state/territory government or they can come in to Australia with out a job offer, but must fullfill some rgulations.

As per Senator Evans, he said that "Employer-sponsored visas are the highest priority because they put a migrant worker directly into a skilled job,".

Also Australia is considering signing pacts with the other countries for the working holiday maker visa to increse the flow of Young workers in the country whcih will also boost the tourism. Those who are engaed in the construction will get benefit in this proigram as well as announced earlir for the agriculture, forestry, fishing and mining industries.
