Salary rise expected for the Immigrant workers in Australia.
According to the Australian Immigration Minister Chris Evans foreign workers may be rised by 3.8 per cent from August 2008. Most of the skilled workers temporarily immigrating to Australia under the temporary business subclass 457 are coming from UK followed by Indians according to recently released figures.Under this program 110 570 visas were issued for the temporary skilled workers and their dependents in the 2007- 2008. From these, nearly 25,000 type 457 visa holders became permanent residents in Australia in this period.
